Slag press for aluminum melting
The RPS 1500 is a machine designed for pressing slag generated from aluminum melting processes, enabling the recovery of a significant portion of the residual aluminum trapped in the slag.
Thanks to the optimized geometry of the punch and chamber, combined with the use of high-strength steels, the RPS 1500 can process up to 3 tons of slag per work cycle, separating the material into two distinct fractions. During the pressing phase, the slag undergoes controlled compaction and cooling, while the recovered aluminum is directed into dedicated trays for reuse in the melting process.

This configuration enables quick and easy installation while minimizing footprint relative to its high production capacity. The absence of external cables, connections, and appendages eliminates potential obstructions, ensuring a more organized and efficient operational layout.
Advanced design in compliance with the latest industrial standards, with automated detection systems to prevent malfunctions and ensure a safe working environment. It includes integrated protection devices such as safety barriers and visual and audible alarms.
Capable of processing up to 3,000 kg of slag per cycle, with a time optimization system that minimizes energy consumption. The machine is equipped with advanced heat recovery technology, further enhancing overall efficiency and reducing operational costs, while maintaining high-quality standards in processing.
Designed with special steel developed in collaboration with a major supplier. This material ensures high resistance to heat and impacts, minimizing deformability. Additionally, perfectly smooth surfaces guarantee optimal detachment of both slag and aluminum, eliminating the need for releasing agents.
